K3 visa for wife

Hi,
Any one has any idea about how long its taking to get the approval for k3 visa and how many days for total processing time for this visa.


I have filed my papers in MSC and i hv not heard from them its 2 months now.
please let me know if anyone has anyidea about the time line.
 
MSC Processing

MSC has been taking unusually long and is not posting its processing report. The link provided in the post above depends on people to update their information and I have not seen any new approvals noted in almost 2 weeks.

Where did u filed you case and what the date you filed my date is
Aug 25. so its almost 2 month now and they are saying its taking 2 months for this. I spoke to one of the INS officers he told me they are working on AUG 11 on sept 27. i dont know whats happening anymore if you hv any idea. let me know.

I filed my I-130 with the Texas Center and the I-129 F with Missouri. My receipt date is a few days after yours. I called the national customer service line (which I know is just a contract company that is not properly trained and does not know anything about immigration) and I was told that petitions are taking 60 days to process. It has been that way for a while and they do not get regular updates.

When I asked the person on the phone about speaking with someone who is actually at MSC so I can find out what date they are actually processing--the woman told me there is no way. The End...no way.

I am just curious how were you able to speak with someone directly at the Missouri Service Center? Do you have a back line phone number??

Lastly..I have been checking posts on a bunch of boards and today I saw a few posts from people who were just approved this week with July 29 receipt dates from Missouri. I wish the information was more in line with the information you were told about processing August 11 apps on September 27.....My guess is another 30-45 days. :(

I called them told them that i made mistake for my wife's birthdate and then connected me to /INS officer to find out
the date problem and he told me. what site u look at it if u can tell me to see this type of case.

lets of the things works fast. i made big mistake should hv filed from delhi. things comes in 3 months. well good luck
 
Thanks sbb911. That was a good way to get to someone. I love it when they say that there is NO WAY to speak with anyone at the individual service centers.

sbb911: I have a number of sites I use for K3 information. If you send me your email through a "private message"...I will gladly give you a list of links as well as tell you about my experiences. ( My ex wife is also from the Philippines and she came to the US on a K1 visa which is almost identical to the K3 process)

MY I-130 was filed on May 22 ... followed all the steps and was issued the K3 Visa at my interview on Oct.22 ..... took 5 months
