Hi there,

I have below question regarding my wife's K 1 visa processing by USCIS. Thanks in advance for your help. I am really confused with all the legal matters and would appreciate response asap.

Here is her current status:

I am a US citizen and my wife is from India. She came to United States on K1 visa 2 years back. She is currently on Adjustment of Status (I485). I485 has been filed for her for AOS. The filing date is 02/04/2006 and she received Notice from USCIS that they have received all evidences (biometrics etc) from her ON May 7, 2007.

It is mentioned that we should expect a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received a response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done.

The case is currently in California service center.

1) Question One
Currently we are waiting for the interview call. My concern is that its way past the 60 days from May 7'07 date and we still haven't heard back from USCIS. Is their way to complaint against USCIS services or any other way to fasten this processing?

2) Second question (Important one)

Currently I maintain residency in Pennsylvania and an apartment in New Jersey for weekdays. I go to my home in PA over the weekend. The home in PA is what's registered with USCIS as our address. We had to take the apartment just 2 weeks ago in New Jersey because wife is going to school there.

Question is that do we need to report that their is an address change because now we have two homes? Or their is no need to report change of address because I do plan to maintain the residency in home at PA.

3) Third question

Her Parents want to visit United States from India. They have been denied visa once when they applied to come for the marriage as our wedding happened in US in 2005 couple months after her arrival. I was under the impression that they got denied because she is probably not even in the USCIS system that time. I would like to invite them to come to United States. However I want to know that once she gets her green card and or US citizenship, does her immigration status change make it challenging for her parents to get visitor visa from India? Should I wait for her Status change or should I sponsor them now regardless of her immigration status?
