Hello,

Both K-1 and K-3 visa are taking approximately similar time. But then also I suggest that the best way would be the K-1 visa route. It will take you about 6-7 months to get the fiancee visa.

K3 Visa Questions Please help

Hi Iam new to this site and have heard great reviews.
I am in a situation: I am a US citizen and would like to marry a girl from India. What visa would be best K3? so she can come to US ASAP. What I am planning is that I go early next year and do a court marriage in India and then come to US and apply for K3 visa for her and then after 6-8 months go to India and do a proper hindu wedding this way the process would start early. Can you all please tell me if this is a best way what I am thinking..or is there any other way too ..will apprciate everyones suggestions..Thanks

Please don't put too much credence in the processing dates online. e.g. mine was submitted in late August 2005 and the processing date when the petition was approved in October was showing a date in early June at the time. From experiences this seems to be the case with the majority. Processing dates are worthless to go by and really only come into play if your petition has not been approved and is 30 days past the current listed processing date whereby you can then contact them to find out what is happening with your case.

I hope you receive your approval soon. All the best.
