I made a mistake on my I-129F Application for my fiance in India.
Question #20. "Your fiance will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate at:
City State
And I typed in Dallas, USA because that is where I was sending the application to "apply". But I have now seen that Uscis is not under the state/consulate and they must be inquiring as to where we want his interview to take place (I wish they had worded that way!)
If I am correct
that this is a mistake--- please inform me as to the best way to correct the mistake so that they do indeed correct it before sending me a RFE for the the correction thus belating our application process time.
Or will they conveniently assume my mistake and automatically route the paperwork to the embassy nearest his physical address in India(which I provided on the application).
Please help!
