My fiancee has lived in USA 5 yrs ago for an year and also in UK for 6 months almost 3 years ago. Both were related to her work only. How can we get police clearance from USA and UK for her? Is it necessary? Thanks for your reply.

IF the applicant lived in a different country for more than 12 months AND was 16 years or older at that time THEN the applicant needs a police certificate from the police authorities of that locality.

USA doesn't have any police certificates, you won't get. In UK your fiancee didn't stay for more then 12 month so only native country police certificate if only applicable.
 
Is it 12 months or 6 months? I thought we need a police certificate as my fiancee has lived 6 months in UK. You said USA doesn't have any police certificate... does it mean we don't have to worry about getting any clearance certificate from USA?
