I have been a silent reader previously. Both myself and my wife's case got approved. Here are my specifics

RD 1/14/02

1st FP 02/26/02
2nd FP 10/14/03

RFE Isssued 9/12/03 Employement Verification for me.
Birth affidavit for spouse
RFE Received 10/8/03

AD 11/17/03

I am from Bangladesh.

This forum was immensely helpful to me in understanding how NSC works and I am thankful to all the contributors.

A small detail. My particulars exactly match those of "waiting02". Who was possibly approved last Friday. We had the same notice date and our 2nd FPs were issued for the same date.

You said your spouse rfe was about birth. Your spouse did not sent birth certificate while applying I-485? What was the reason BCIS generated this rfe and what documents did you sent?

My wife's birth was late registered and so was mine. This was reflected in the birth certificate we sent in with the I-485. But BCIS only wanted a birth affidavit for her. I guess they had to send an RFE and couldn't find anything else. The affidavit was a statement made by my wife's parent in front of a notary about the birth.

congratulations! I'm also from Bangladesh, and I'm curious if you got an RFE for Special Registration? I heard all applicants were getting them (I did), but it doesn't seem like it.

To the Rest of you reading this approval: Instead of sitting patiently waiting for the approvals, why not do something to jump start it? Nothing we have done so far seems to have helped, let us try and pressurize them into giving us our approvals. I did not get any RFE for special registration. I know of a Bangladeshi person who got an RFE for special registration after submitting RFE for employment verification.
