Just Talked to IIO---Question for Gurus--rsrgc, Dee Rod and Pcee, and others

She said all my background checks hae been received on 01.10.02. My FP was done on 12.12.01. She also said case is not assigned yet.
She then mentioned that she will take a printout of my case and forward to the division Officer for expediting. I do not know why she said that.

Gurus, any ideas?

Am I close to approval?

well - The IIO to me is a big mystery - There is no set pattern with how they operate. Most of the IIO\'s are not helpfull at all and there are others who are very helpfull.

My guess is that you have reached an IIO who was helpfull and it looks like your case will be assigned soon and be adjudicated soon.

It is just a patient waiting game and quite nerve wracking too, specially in this downturn economy with mixed signals.

In the past few months there have been many positive signals from the economy and negative signals also.

I hope things work out well for all of us in the GC waiting process game.

Background check

What kind of background ground check is done by INS?? Just curious
