I just talked to an IIO and she said that my case is still pending and I should be getting the result in 6-8 weeks.
 
She said it has not been assigned

She said it has not been assigned but she just mentioned that she has taken a printout and will give it to an officer to have a look at the case.

The reason I am curious is because my middle three digits are 271.

Yesterday someone was suggesting that if you give your A# then you will get better info.

Again I am not so sure how good the info these IIO giveout. For all you know I will not be surprised if you get approval within next 2 weeks.

Mine is also EAC-00-271-5XXXX . They have not assigned the case to any Officer , She said 4 - 6 weeks I should hear some thing from them .

Something is not right.

Cases with middle three digits 277 are approved where as cases with 271 not even assigned. ?

Again I do not know what is going on, but get ready for a pleaseant surprise.

I called up yesterday and they said that my case has not been assigned to an officer yet. Something is going on with 277 series, like jumping ahead of everyone else
