Just had a conversation with an IIO about my AOS (PD 07/99, RD 01/14/00 and ND 01/31/00, EB1, India). The computer systems were down, but VSC is officially acknowledging that they are adjusting 01/01/00 applications.
My experience of tracking VSC over the past couple of years indicates that when VSC acknowledges a certain date, what they generally mean is that they have pretty much done most of the applications pending till that date and they are already well beyond that - which is why we\'re seeing 02/2000 applications being adjusted.
Also, after the large number of apps from 08-10/1999, there\'s a large drop off in applications in 11/99 and 12/99, with a bit of a rise in January 2000.
