Just spoke with an IIO

This is my first time to speak with an IIO. According to her,
INS Vermont Center is picking up a few Feb. cases based on the
priority date. When asked about my case, she said it\'s "pending".
Her explanation for "pending" is it\'s waiting for the decision
to be made. She even refused to tell if my case has been assigned
to an officer or not. I have read some posts here about the
unpleasant experience with an IIO. I just had one.

IIOs do not disclose all the details. So...

Take it easy. You can\'t them all the questions. If they say "pending", just hang up.

what do they mean by pending? why do you say hang up? is pending an indication of something good or bad? thanks
