Just spoke with an IIO about status

I just called to check status of my 485 application filed in July 01.
She said, they are currenly processing cases filed in April, and told me that since my case
is filed in July (7/5/01 RD, not the ND which is 8/20/01), it may take upto \'STANDARD ANSWER\' (3-4 months). She told me that they received the FP
results, and everything is ok and ready to be assigned to officer, and the file is in
 the JULY FILERS SHELF waiting to be assigned to an officer.

When asked about the status of spouse case, she said it may be in the same state as they usually process
both the applications together.

Checked to see whether my previous call to update address was successful, she verified that the computer system has been
updated with my new address.

Thats all folks.

That means we July filers should consider 3-4 months as upercap. Not so bad. I am pretty sure that most of us will get approved far earlier than this period.

hope we can see the approvals soon.....it is getting goddamned frustrating now.....and this f****** market is not helping things at all....

IIO says they are processing April cases ..

But you don\'t find April cases approved. My RD is April 11 But still it is not approved. So don\'t believe in IIO words. Just do the guess work ..

I am happy to note that they have a "JULY FILERS SHELF" whatever that means to the processing guys. I just hope that the shelves are labeled correctly.
 
yeah ..and also the officers are not blind....

and they don\'t drug their coffee....and their wives and kids are happy...and they don\'t have dentist appointments.....and..so on and so forth.......

I really pray that some of these officers should get their applications stuck in our home countries....maybe then they will realise the pain.....

Milk, your dates and mine are the same. May be need to track each other. I spoke with an IIO last week and allmost got the same reply. But I think it is getting closer. Probably 15-30 days from today. Lets hope for the best.
But, also worried that some of the March, April, May and June cases are yet to be approved. I know a friend who is an April filer and not yet got his approval.
