I just spoke to IO at NSC.
She was very nice and gave more information than that I expected.
First asked my information and said "Yes" your PD is current and your application is "Pending"
.
I asked , May I know the reason why it is pending?
She gave mixed answer. Its been 15 months with your last FP and you should get FP notice by next month. She added, if you get approval before that then disregard FP notice. I asked , so it is going to get approved soon. She said , may be but not sure.
She said everything clear in your application including Security Checks.
I needed more information by asking "Is this means that my Name Check and background check has cleared?"
She said let me check and after 10 second pause , she said "yes" everything cleared. Then since everything cleared and date is current why it is not getting approved. She said call us after Dec 15th if you dont get approval.
Also disregard FP notice if you get approval.
I said "Thank You very much".
So my guess is, Office waiting for my FP ( will be third one ) to be checked once again before approval.

Note: I went to INFOPASS last month and officer said my name check is not yet cleared. But NSC officer just said "it is cleared".
Any ways, I am not taking anything +ve and -ve. If it comes thats good. If not, continue my phone calls and take appointments with INFOPASS.

I485 applied on March 2005 and pending.
