Just Recieved 2nd Letter

I just recieved the 2nd NL, and my CP interview is scheduled in Montreal, Canada on Aug 2nd @ 8AM.

I need to know how much time to request from work and the irony is that I just got a NEW TN approved two weeks ago, with my official start date of July 7th.

I also need to do background check in Canada (Name Check only), so where can I go to get this done quickly.
