MY DETAILS: PD APRIL 98, RD 7-02-01, ND 8-06-01, EAC 01 239 XXXXX.
The gist of the conversation is my case is been with an officer for about a month now. This is 3rd time I spoke with a rep in the last 30 days at a gap of two weeks. Including today I was given exactly the same answer "you should hear something with in the next two weeks, but I cant promise anything". She went on to add that, the security process is adding time to the processing of each and every type of application. When I asked her about the whats the date that VSC is now processing. She said, they are processing Aug 01 applications. To my question of is it RD OR ND, she replied its the date on which the application info is entered into the system. She added that "yours is August 06,2001". So in her opinion VSC is processing by the ND date not the RD date. Then again, its just her opinion.
I will wait for two more weeks, hopefully I will know something or the other by that time.
