Just Landed...........Urgent Help Needed

Hello Experts
I am a landed immigrant in Toronto. I have landed 4 days ago. My wife is also a landed immigrant and she is pregnant and the baby is due in 2-3 weeks. The hospitals here charge about $10,000 for delivery and you know at the time being we are not covered by insurance since there is a 90 days waiting period in Ontario. However, all private insurance companies don't cover pre-existing health conditions such as pregnancy and delivery and so on....
Please tell me what should I do........paying $10,000 is impossible for me to do
What is the way out...............

Honestly I don’t know how is in Canada. I thought health care is most affordable than in US. Anyway, is it possible to just go to Emergency Room when the labor starts? In US they have to assist you by law when in emergency room, even if you don’t have health coverage. Especially since you do not qualify yet for health coverage. After that, in US is possible to apply for Charity Care to cover the expenses. Find if there is anything like this in Canada.
