Just got my I130 Petition receipt notice.

I just recieved the I13 petition recipt notice today. it's syas recieved date March 23, 05. I was wondering if anyone knows how long will it take for me to get the EAD card, or do I need to fill out another form to apply for that? my wife (an US citizen) and I got married on January 25 05 and we have a son at the begining of the Febuary 05. currently I am on the OPT thing but it will end at the end of July...thank you..

My wife filed them for me.. the I-130 and I-485 forms.. we mailed it out on March 18 05. it says on the recipt.. the recieved date is March 23, 05 and notice date is April 4, 05. adn we live in Wisconsin.

To get EAD you need to file form I-765 with I 485. Have filed it. If you want a travel permit, you need to file form I-131. What forms have you filed with your I-485. There are several forms like I 864, G 325A, I-693 nedds to be filed with I 485.

Green Card procedure

My husband is a permanent resident(Green Card holder) and applied for me in oct 2001. I received an I-767 stating I-130 is approved. what is the next step. should we wait for the priority date to be as current. If so where and how do we look. Will we get a notice as to when we can apply for i-485( or what ever is the next step) and when can we expect such a notice. Any information is appreciated. ...Thanks.
