just FP or a freaking RFE?

Folks, Here is the current status of my spouse's 485 application.

On February 07, 2005, we responded to your request for more information
concerning your case.

I thought that she is getting a RFE.. But recently I received her FP appointment with the same Feb 7 notice date. I was told by others that issuing FP appointment does not result in status change. Also the status of my application was NOT changed when I got my FP.

Whats the real deal? Is the update related to FP or should I go thru this painful wait for an RFE?

chichu9,

Have you found out what this status update is about? My case online status just changed into the same message, wondering why is that? Have you or your lawyer inquire CIS via phone or email before the status changed?

chichu9 , it says "we responded to your request for more information ..." you might have changed your address or something.

This happens usually when you change your address or you/your attorney enquire about your case. This is not an RFE.

Yes, I did call up the emergency line and asked whether they received my biometrics after I went back to ASC to do that. The lady told me they received that in the phone. So, most likely I won't receive anything in mail, right?

Yes thats right. If it was an RFE, then you message will contain something like this '.....we requested for additional evidence .....'.

So, don't worry, be cool.
