Hi
My mother has a active Green Card , however she overstayed her stay in India because of Covid and other medical reasons. She was outside USA for about 4 years.
She applied for DS-117 (Rentry Visa) at Mumbai consulate, which got rejected.
Hence I (US Citizen) have just subitted a new I130 petition for her to get her a new Green Card. Here a few questions I have for folks on this forum.
1. How much should I expect for the I130 to get approved given that it was submitted to Nebraska Service Center.
2. Once approved by USCIS, how much time does NVC take to process the Green Card
3. Does she surrender her existing Green Card? Is surrendering of existing Green Card required before USCIS starts processing her new I130 application?
