Hi:

Though I'm currently far way off from the CP process, I have been reading these posts to keep myself informed.

Just curious, now that the fee to be paid to NVC here is $335 instead of $260 earlier (correct?), does this mean that one would not have to pay the visa issuance fee of $65 at Bombay?

Yes... Nothing to be paid in Bombay. But carry the copy of the check you pay here just for payment proof.

Much appreciate. But I wonder what happens to the $65 visa issuance fee that is included in $335 in the event someone is denied the visa? Though I hope to GOD nobody has to face this situation.

The visa issue fee is not refunded even if the visa is not issued.

But I would think the candidate would have far bigger problem
to worry about than this $65.00
