to know what the codes E3-9 meant on the GC stamping in passport of spouse.
While checking for the primary applicant's code E3-7, found the following.
legal permanent resident code:
(E-26: professionals with advanced degrees) - basically EB2
(E-37: professionals without advanced degrees) - basically EB3
Any ideas?

We got the E3-7 and E3-9 codes in our stamping.
I don't think it was a typo or cut-paste error.
Maybe the adjustment cases were filed under those specific conditions.
Who knows.
