But looking at several timelines it seems like everybody receives an RFE? (Request for Evidence) after filing for N-400...

Is this really the case with most people? and what are some of the things they requested?

I am getting ready to file and do not want to miss anything

You are fine.........just apply using USCIS guidelines for citizenship and RFE is for FP (finger print).......so don't worry........and other things requested by USCIS is nothing but asking you to bring DL at your interiview......that's all.
