As u know Switzerland is one of the European countries that does not require visa for Permanent Residents. I didn't get my NP stamped in Zurich at all. The only stamp I've got was in JFK. I went into the non-american line and was told by the person who checks all your forms that I should've been in US Passport line. Nevertheless it took me 2 minutes to pass the passport control. My NP was stamped with "Admitted" stamp and that was it.

Thank you for sharing.

I am interested in knowing that going to Switzerland does not need visa for GC holders. I thought Germany and Ireland are the only two European countries who do not need visa for GC + RTD holders.

I wonder, if you only have GC + Reentry Permit, will you get visa-free to enter Switzerland ? What other country does the same thing for GC + RP, or GC only ?

As far as I knom RTD will allow u to get to Germany and Northen Ireland withoud visa. Switzerland allows for GC holder to enter without a visa as whel as Croatia.
