I just check the online status and found my case is approved. yesteday.
The detail is:
RD 04/01
ND 04/01
FP 02/02 and 05/03

I think INS start to pick up 2001 cases. Hopefully this will continue and everything back to normal.

The reason I did two FP is because the FP is only valid for 15 months. Then it will be expired. Hopefully those of you still pending will enjoy the freedom soon too!
 
I'm not sure. When I check the case online, it just says:

Current Status:

This case has been approved. On xxx, 2003, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

So probably I will know after I get the approval notice.

What is the SRC number useful? I strongly suggest you to call the INS service center to request new FP, or at least you will know if the case is assigned to an officer yet. Because it will take time(at least several weeks) before you actually get new FP done. So you will have some gap between the two FPs. You will be very lucky if you can be approved before the FP expired. But prepare for the worst. Good luck!
 
In my src range of 50 cases except for 5 cases rest were all approved in 2002. When i called TSC IIO and asked for 2nd fp they said i have to wait my turn.
I do not know where our files are and in worst case scenario what to do?
 
vzexemp, sorry for your FP situation. I think the worst is after you FP expired, you may call immediately to request a new FP. But since they changed the phone from 214 to 800, I don't know if they still allow manual FP. Maybe some guru can help you here.
