Basically, you and your husband need to read the directions on the forms, it clearly states what you need to file along with it.
You need to send
I-130 (with all supporting documents/additional forms)
In order for a petition for you to take place and "visa number" become inmediately available for you.
You need to send
I-485 (with all supporting documents/additional forms)
In order to adjust your status / file for permanent residency.
You need to send
I-131 (with all supporting documents/additional forms)
In order to be able to leave the country and come back while the petitions are pending.
You need to send
I-765 (with all supporting documents/additional forms)
In order for you to be able to work legally. Unless you already have a work permit.
You can send them in the following order:
1st - Send I-130
2nd - Send I-485
3rd - Send the I-131 & I-765
OR
You can send them all at the same time (to the
Chicago Lockbox if you wonder).
The difference is, it will take longer if you send them 1 by 1... if you can afford it send them all now. But whatever you do send them all before July 30, 2007. New fees will kick in that day.
