My lawyer has e-filed my I-140 on 06/06/07 (non-pp) and it went to TSC. Since there were few LUDs. Documents were deleivered on 06/13 at TSC and there was one LUD on 06/16/07. Thats was last LUD on my I-140 and I could see virtually no improvement.

I appreciate comments from folks who had filed their I-140 around the same time.

Good luck to all

I filed 140 EB1-EA on june 18th, 07. Got receipt and case is pending. We may expect long delay in decision.

(Hi everyone, I'm new here but have been lurking and reading and learning here for a while now....this forum is sooo much more informative than what lawyers often tell me)

Filed I-140 for EB-1A in late May and got receipt dating 05/29/07 from TSC. Case status is still pending.

At time of application I was debating whether to do expedited processing -- my attorney said it wasn't necessary.....well now I'm getting worried and it seems that the expedited processing route for I-140 has temporarily been halted, is that correct?

BTW every time I check uscis.gov it's still showing that the CURRENT processing date for I-140/EB-1's @ TSC is a date in JANUARY 2007 -- does this really mean that they are only processing cases received as of Jan '07 and earlier? Or is that info inaccurate? I'm not really buying it as (1) my attorney says many of the EB-1's he handled over the past year took only approx. 3 months to process and get an approval, and (2) I'm seeing some members here who filed I-140 for EB1 in June and got approved in July, all 2007. Any explanation for the dates provided by uscis.gov for TSC?

Thanks in advance!

Parker,
welcome. Never trust the processing time on uscis website. It is meaningless.Your attorney is right. For EB1, it takes about 1-4 months if we are lucky. It may takes years if we are unlucky. But most of the eb1a cases are processed faster than other category. Processing may not be based on order they receive, I guess. My friend got aproved recently who filed in end of march.
you shud hear soon. Please post your credentials on the forum. so it will be useful for others in future.
Good luck.

my lawyer told me the same , it took just 2-3 months in the past years to approve eb1 cases. But its taking a while on these days. I could see, in this forum, people get approved anywhere from 3-6 months. So dont trust processing dates given in USCIS website
