Even if move by 2 months max I would still be happy coz it is atleast moving and not staying where it is right now as per DOS statement. My PD is 09/2004.

where did I see what? The DOS statement or pd moving by 2 months? Regarding PD movement I replied to your query saying I will be happy even if it moves by 2 months.
Regarding the DOS statement few immigration websites are claiming that they got that info from DOS. Few such websites are www.aila.org, www.americanvisas.com, www.murthy.com. But I did not search on DOS's website for this info for authenticity.

Got a reply from the consulate yesterday.
"The current cut off date for E3 visa category is June 1, 2002. You need to wait for your priority date to become current for this office to schedule an interview date for you."
Dont know if this is last month's they are telling or if there is no movement.

Shusterman was right again. EB3 - Unskilled was retrogressed further- from 07/01/2001 to 01/01/1999(2.5 years backward movement). Thank god it was not EB3-Skilled. This uncertainty is just killing me after working very hard, paying taxes, and trying to live here legally and become permanent resident where as illegal aliens have been and are continued to be given GC on a silver plate.

The indications for other workers (EW) was grim even in the March bulletin as the DOS had warned that it would get exhausted before end of the fiscal year - Shusterman had broadly put it as E3 category - which is an overstatement. Anyway, this is becoming like Nostradamus stuff - you can interpret it in a lot of different ways!
It is inevitable that this will make us all frustrated but it is difficult to comprehend that the illegal aliens would be "Skilled Workers, Professionals Holding Baccalaureate Degrees" - the category that most of us are in. So would you not think that this may not be the cause?
