Now if Company "A" is not supporting the Petition, and Company "B" is Willing to Sponser your GC, and your job responsibilites, and Descripition are same, you can use the previously approved I 140, and continue with the AOS process, you just need to consult witha VERY GOOD Lawyer

AOS = Adjustment of Status (I - 485)

AC - 21 is a portabality law (its still not Very clear though, as final regulations are pending) that allows you to change jobs after 180 days of I 485 being filed, and a descision has not yet been made in your case. Provided the Job description and Responsibilites remain same or similar.

This is what I surmise from this and other forums.

The best thing for you to do would be, to contact a VERY VERY GOOD LAWYER, and discuss this issue with him/her.
