My EAD expires on 10/25/02
My H1 expires on 02/15/03 but there is a likelyhood of
me being laid off. I am currently on an H1 but planning to
look for a new job on an EAD.

What is the procedure for applying for an EAD? It is
possible to apply directly, without my lawyer?
