July bulletin is out

Wrong. The bad news is :

Readers are reminded that during the summer months, with immigrant visa number use approaching the annual limits for the year, the supply of numbers remaining for use is limited. Thus, cut-off date advances could slow or stop, and monthly allocations decrease. Additional retrogression of cut-off dates such as those experienced for July are possible. Readers should not assume visa availability until the cut-off dates are announced.

July Visa bulletin:bad news for India

And the bad news also is that since the EB1 dates have stayed where they were last month-this is likely to retrogress in next month`s bulletin or not move forward. In either case this will prevent the spillover of unused numbers from here to EB2 and EB3 which would have helped these categories to advance further.
Seems a little strange how all other retrogressed countries suddenly became Current in EB1 except India-is it just that there are too many Indians applying for GC in EB1 or something else? Also if the numbers haven`t preogressed because of approvals-where exactly are the approvals-haven`t seen too many of the retrogressed acses being approved.
What is USCIS really upto here?

Even the RD's have not moved ahead as it still shows April 15(April 22 bulletin).

Thanks for that info.
Can u post the link to there-my case is current since May1st and As per INS my namecheck/security clearance was initiated on 4/22/06-haven`t heard anything yet.Placed enquiry thru senator,e mailed the FBI address-nothing yet.
Hope it comes thru soon.
In any case thanks

My case has been current since May 1 as well. How do you find out whether the name check has been cleared? My last update was on 04/27/06 but the uscis website still has the same old message:

"On August 15, 2005, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

namecheck

I think the only way is
1)fbI E MAILS U
2)Senator office tells u
3)On USCIS enquiry u get a nice officer who tells u
4) best of all GC comes thru
