heard in the AVM yesterday 7/2/2002 that my case was approved on june 28th

never spoke to IIO...
came to this county in 1989 as a undergrad student..on f1
then applied for opt and used it start my employment..
then applied for H1 and got approved...with 1st employer
then applied and worked for 2 other companies..at different times
finally setteled with my curret employer joined in 99 and was planning to
go back to india for good...when my 6 years of h1 expires on 7/31/2002...
with presure from my friends and my company pushing me to apply for GC..
i started my GC process on 8/11/2000 and got labor approved sometime in
jan 2001, then applied for I140 in march and got approved on august 20th,
2001 ...within a week i was able to puttogether all my and my wife's
document and apply for 485 on 8/30/2001.. now with exactly 1 month left
on my H1 visa (expires on 7/31/2002) i GC was approved..
in a nutshell things have worked in a positive way for me thus far..
Hopefully i will be able to use this chance to benifit me for a change!
