July 2013 Asylum Applicants

Hi. If you applied, or would apply for asylum on July 2013, join this thread to help each other.
I sent my package on June 26, to Nebraska service center, used usps priority post with track number. My application delivered on July 1st; received receipt from USCIS on July 5th. Waiting for fingerprint/interview date. What about you?

I am still preparing. I would love to have it already filed like you as this is turning into depression to me.

Is there any advice for my final two weeks of preparing the case? Legal stay end on Dec 13 and I am on B visa.

I applied on june 22 , receipt came June 24. July 1st biomatric. July 2nd biomatric done. Waiting for interview letter.

I will say discuss with ur attorney as mine was arrived late usually it gives you 14 days for bio but mine give me 7 days.

Application was sent May 31 to Arlington asylum office by attorney ( was then sent to Houston,TX)

Received notice for fingerprint July 19
Fingerprint done July 22 ( today in Austin)
Waiting for interview date.

July 5th - received USCIS mail about application acceptance on July 1st.
July 8th - biometrics mail received
July 13th - biometrics done, waiting for interview date

Chicago Office and the WAIT continues...
