Hi,

I received magic e-mails today that my and my family's I-485 cases are approved. Its a great pleasure to share this with all of you. Thanks to Mr. Khanna and his team for providing us this forum. And Thanks to all of you for your support and help in all this journey. You all know it is a tough journey but finally reaching the destination provides great comfort.

My details are below.

I-140 ND: May 2003
I-485 ND: Jul 2003
FP done in Nov 2004
Name check cleared in Feb 2004
I sent e-mail to ask about name check in Oct 2004 and got response in Feb 2005.
2 EADs and APs approved.
I initiated an inquiry in I-485 in Feb 2005.
I-140 AD Apr 2005
Received RFE in Apr 2005
Reply RFW in Apr 2005
I-485 approved in May 2005

Any advise for PP stamping?? Good Luck to everybody.

Hi,
Congrats on your approval. I know the feeling because we also got approval letters y'day.

I did research on Passport stamping and spoke to my attorney. Basically you will need to go through the INFOPASS appt website from USCIS website and
get appt for each member of your family.

Documents you would need are: Appt letter, 485 approval letter, original EADs,APs,Passports, 2 passport size photos. I believe that's all you would need.

Did I miss anything gang?

I guess the triggering event is my own query on I-485. My lawyer and employer initiated 4 inquiries for I-140 and nothing happened. I contacted local congressman and senator but no change.

When I initiated and inquiry for my I-485 case BCIS replied with standard wordings that they are working on the case. And right after a few days I received I-140 approval (it took about 20 month to get I-140 approval) right after a fewd days I got RFE (birth cert, W-2, employer letter) after it reply I got GC within 1 month.

I wish if it can help any of you ?? Please let me know if you need any other info.
