July 2001 RD Filers EAD Logic for GC approval!!

Guys! As per INS rules EAD should be renewed 4 or 3 months before its expiration date. I believe most of the July 2001 filers EAD will expire around August 2002 and has to apply for renewal by April or May 2002. My question is will INS VSC consider EAD expiration date? If yes, could we expect all July Filers approval before April or May 2002? Or INS VSC means no logic!! Any opinions/thoughts?
