Judicial Oath Question

Hi all-

Quick Question,

If a person files N400 with spouse and spouse opts for name change does both husband & wife both get Judicial oath???

Here is my case: Me and my wife passed our n-400 interview in Dallas on june18, 2012 and currently waiting for oath letter. my wife requested name change so I am assuming that she will get a judicial oath. During my interview my IO mentioned that they will try to schedule our oath together. My question is whether i would get a judicial oath or administrative oath?

I need to travel abroad soon and I was wondering if I would be stuck for judicial oath even I am not changing my name? Its already over 4 weeks so not sure how long I have to wait....

Please share if any one has any experience.

Appreciate any feedback..

Thanks

I think USCIS must have put both of you together for the judicial oath. That might be the reason for delay.

That's what I'm suspecing but wouldn't Judicial Oath cost more as they have to get time from Judge etc when in my case there is no real need ? They can use my slot for someone who needs a name change but who knows how the USCIS works...
