Joining a job using EAD

It is more than a year since I applied for I-485. My current contract is about to end Feb 1, 2004. I have been offered a job in a different state and they want me to join ASAP. What is the legal procedure so that I can join the other job. Will it affect my I-485? Do I have to reapply for I-140.

I don't think it will effect your process at all. Try to stay in states within the same support center you applied at.


I left my company Oct of last year and since then working on my EAD with no freaking problems :)

I have my own lawyer and he asked me not to inform USCIS about the new employer until I get REF.

I stayed in the same state MA but moved to another town.
Sent AR-11 for address change

Just imagine how long it is taking now for approvals when you are with the same support center what about if your case moved to another support center....

This is just an advice, "Take it or leave it"
