Have a question for you, when you had your GC approval and presumably your plastic card, did you apply for a replacement SSN card to remove the condition? I tried to apply for one and up till today, still haven't got my replacement SSN card. Apparently SSA's database still shows me as H1B although I had my approval and received my card. Any idea how to rectify this? The wonders of all government channels never cease to amaze me, you would think that SSA DB will tie to INS DB!
