joef ,

I was reading some place that every male who was in the US between ages of 18 & 26 and did not
register with Selective Service is NOT eligible for citizenship.

Please check the following attorney Web page for the article:

http://shusterman.com/cgi-bin/ex-link.pl?www.immigration.gov/graphics/services/natz/require.htm

I entered US on a H1 visa when I was 24 years of age. But does this rule apply for males who
entered on Non-Immigrant visas also? Or is this required only for males who entered on
immigrant visas.

Also had 1 more question. As regards to physical presence requirement for citizenship (for a person with approved N-470), is it 30 months or is it 3 years of physical presence?

Thanks for your help.

When did you get your Green Card approved?

It seems that in your case this is the date that matters to know if you should have registered with selective services or not. If you were 26 by the time you got your permanent resident status I think you should not worry at all.

This is not legal advice. See the links posted by JoeF for more details.

My 2 cents.
