My spouse got the card but she got a wrong date in the field "resident Since". We are going to apply I 90 but in the mean time we got to sponsor visitor visa for my in laws. Is it ok to use this erroneous card or just use the I-551 stamp on the passport? But this I-551 stamp is expiring in three months and on top of this her passport is expiring in 6 months. But we got to sponsor them ASAP. Please advise.

I heard that such a mistake on is very common. What is used
as "resident since" is beyond your imagination - PD, AD, BD,
whatever. As long as the INS internally record the read date
(should be I-485 AD), there is no imminent need to correct.
So use it first and then correct it later.
