Jobs for US trained physicians in Canada- how difficult

Hi
I would like to find out if any one can give me an idea regarding jobs for physicians in canada. how difficult and what is the procedure. How long it takes if i apply now. i am tired of the background check and would like to make a move, been waiting for almost 18 months now, cannot afford to do writ of mandamus as of now. Any ideas- I do not have five years of post training experience in US so I guess that route of licensure in canada is out. Please advice. Thanks.

There are several threads about this discussion in physician's section of immigrationportal. There is not much to say because the acceptance of IMGs is not as good as it is in US and yes, even with the best US training one will still be considered as IMG (unless of course you are a US Medical Graduate).
