I am a PR and have been out of job since mid 2004. I filed tax for 2001-2004.
I have just sent in Visa Fee of USD335 to NVC. We are going through consulate processing now. I130 was approved December 2004.
My question is--- can I still sponsor my wife since I am jobless now. I am using our cash and assets under my wife's name which is more than enough to cover the 125% Povery Guide Line. Is that enough for the purpose of filing the Affidavit of Support?
