i have AP for one year now. can i travel in and out of US? eventhough i have no job?

unless your 485 is based on a job, in which case you need to have one. If not now, they will question you come citizenship time.

On an employment based GC application, its safer to have a valid job offer letter (current or future job). Not sure how it works at the POE, if their screen shows up that you have not been working, they can ask for employment proof.

I travelled when I was jobless and nobody ask anything. Questions were asked when I come on green card but none on advanced parole.
Nothing to worry.

Good Luck.
