Job Title

Hello CP gurus,
I would like to check if the job title on the LC, I140, P3 and Employment letter needs to be the same. I am in a complicated situation where even though the job functions i do are the same there has been a chenge in my title after my I140 has been approved. Would it be a problem if the employment letter has a different title then the one in I140. I could get an employment letter with the new title and also the old one in parenthesis next to it. I was also planning on filling my P3 in this way. Should this be enough.

You don't have to worry too much about the job title if your work for the same company and pretty much doing same/similar things. Consulate officers are aware of this issue. What you have planned to do is correct.

I am in the same siutation, but for 485 (not CP). My lawyer says it should not be a problem, in my case I was promoted.
