Job title change in same company

Hi,
My I-140 is approved and waiting ofor my PD to be current. I am on 7th yr extension and my 8th yr extension is due on Feb 2007.
My company is planning to promote me to a different department. In this case My job profile will change.

Please advise what will happen to my extension. Will I get 3 yr extension on the new profile? will my 104 still be valid?

Please Clarify.

Make sure job responsibilities are similar. For H1 extensions this may be easier but you have to look at 485 also. So bigger issue could be 485 where they may raise more questions.

In general if you don't move from individual contributor to Supervisor position triggers an immediate red flag.
