Job Title change during I-485 in process.

Guys, I need some advice regarding 485 processing if there is a change in job title. My details are:
- Country: Other, PD: 9/24/99, RD:4/00, ND:4/00, EAD approved: 7/00, FP: 11/02/00.
- My job title had changed as a result of a promotion before filing of I-485. The employment letter that was included alongwith 485 application has my new title and new higher salary (i.e. different from the one on my LC and I-140).
- However, my job responsibilities are still the same and I am working for the same employer. In case I get an RFE, I will be able to obtain a letter from my employer giving the desired job description, etc.
- I would like to know if there is anything to worry about this? Does VSC compare the job titles in the I-140 vs the I-485? Does anybody have any experiences with this kind of situation? I would hate to go through the LC and I-140 process again, as my H1B six year limit expires in 10/2001.
Any suggestions,ideas are wellcome.

Well, firstly congratulations on your promotion. Secondly, don\'t worry and don\'t take any action becuase you don\'t have to. The same employer is the criteria for I485 and you won\'t be penalized for your promotion by INS. The reason I say that because I am in the similar situation like that and I am not worrying a bit. My attorney attests my opinions as well and hence it\'s not a problem.
