job restriction for AOS

My Eb1-EA was approved on Feb. 13, but NIW is still pending. If I get NIW approved, which is less restriction for apply AOS? ETA-750B for NIW said Research Scientist and cover letter of EA said Drug design and synthesis researcher of extra ordinary ability. If I chose NIW, must I find Research Scientist position? If I chose EA, what kind of job must I find? Any job OK ? For example, taxi driver, sales person, etc.

You should use you EB1 for your adjustment

You do not know if there will be backlog or not during your adjustment of status (for a yr); EB1 is much less likely to be backlogged.
