Hi everybody

I had a 3 years job offer at university of Toronto as Post-Doctoral fellow. This job is exempt from HRDC validation. Do you think I can get points for this job offer under arranged employment for my PR application?

Your responses are appreciated
Thanx

You have answered your question, I mean Post-Doc is a
kind of research work and it is not an employment offer.

You can try posting your query in the following(link) forum,
if you want.

All the best.

Hi Vijay

Thank you for your reply and for providing the link. I just don't know why you think post-doc job is not employment offer? You are right it is research job, but it is paid-job, it is listed in Skill Type 0, Level A and Level B of the NOC, and it is the kind of job that Ph.D. holder is expected to have before getting permanent job as a scientist or as a unviersity professor. This job is exempt from HRDC confiramation under the canadian benefit category. Anyway, I already sent my application and it is too late for me now to try and find another job so hopefully I will hear from them within the next couple of months, either yes or no...

All the best
