Job in different state/service center??

Hi,

I have been laid off, my I485 is pending for 7 months in CSC,
I have EAD card till 4/2004. Should I look for jobs only under CSC jurisdiction? If I take an offer from outside of CSC jusridiction, what will happen to my pending I 485 at CSC?

Not necessarily because in this economy you might not find job under CSC. First preference should be CSC if you can't find then take a job anywhere in the US and keep a permanent address in CSC. If you get RFE then you notify INS about the job change under AC21.
