Hi

I have worked in only one company since I graduated.
I am planning to apply for LC. My lawyer says that I cannot use any skill or experience which I gained in my current company.

Most of my valuable skill and experience are from my company.
what do i do in such situation? Please advice..

That is the worst loophole in the current law - you can hardly use experience gained in current employment for LC purposes, unless your lawyer is very good and is able to show that the experience is not progressive, still it is very hard to get by.

Unfortunately that means to use your experience, you will have to jump ship to other company. (Some how America seems to reward disloyalty and criminals much more than a loyal and legally upright person)

Yep, what a stupid rule. I too switched jobs after I gained 5 yrs exp. just because my current company offered to file under EB2.

Some of my friends joined in India for a year, then transferred over on L1s, just so that they could file as managers under EB-1 and skip the labor cert. nightmare. Talk this out with your company - they might be able to do this for you.
