Job description change

Hi all,
I joined my current employer in Oct 2000. My green card application was delayed due to multiple lay offs and was finally filed under EB3 Non RIR in May 2003. I was a Senior Software Engineer at that time. I grew in my organization thereafter and currently I am a project manager. I am on 7th year extension.

Please let me know how my 8th year extention and/or labour certification will be affected due to my role change. Is there any ammendment that can be filed ? How risky would that be ?

Changes in job condition (salary, duties, location etc.) usually requires amended LC application.

It all depends upon the extent of change and looks like you are in totally different category now.

DOL may advise you to resubmit the petition (& do recruitment).
