JOB change query!

I am rephrasing the query asked by someone in other forum.
If someone is filling EB1-OR concurrently.
If this guy gets I-140 approved and spends six months with current boss.
Can't he/she leave this job and take similar job?!!!!!
Is this true that one has to wait till I-485 gets approved (as answered by modrerator of that forum)!!!!
If one has to wait for I-485 to approve then its trouble especially for those from retrogressed country!!!

In order to change job your 140 applicatiojn should be filed (may be approved) and 485 application is pending for more then 6 months.
Ofcourse Pay should ber the same and your job profile should be similar.
